Lightning Protection Installer Trainee positions open in Grapevine area. No experience necessary, on the job training provided. Job Duties:o Safety is our companies first and foremost objective on any project and therefore an installer must act in a safe and responsible manner at all times. An installer trainee must work to develop a working knowledge of the company's safety manual and procedures and fully comply with the requirements.o LPS installation requirements include material handling and loading, running of conductor, electrical bonding, concrete drilling, hand excavation, exothermic welding, etc.o Grounding installations include driving ground rods, excavation of trenches, installations of Raised Floor Grounding systems, Bus Bar Backbones and ground resistance testing.o An installer trainee must develop a working knowledge of the building codes and standards that govern this industry, including the NFPA 780, UL 96A and LPI 175.o An installer trainee will be required to travel on a regular basis and must be able to safely and professionally operate a company vehicle.o Teamwork in this profession is critical and that includes taking responsibility for their commitments, proactively offers help and support to other installers and works will with all employees on a project.o An Installer trainee must be able to work with tools and demonstrate an ability to maintain all VFC equipment properly and with the same amount of care and concern as if it was their own.
Requirements: Must be 18 years or older. have a HS Diploma or GED, current driver's license and clean driving record.
Must be willing to travel .

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
