Agent-Guest Services - Seasonal
Responsibilities include: Process all guestcheck-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change/late check-outrequests. Secure payment; activate/reissue room keys. Ensure rates match marketcodes, document exceptions. Verify/adjust billing for guests. Communicate toappropriate staff when guests are waiting for an available room. Advise guestof messages. Clear departures in computer system. Coordinate with Housekeepingto track room status and guest concerns. File guest paperwork or documentation.Operate telephone switchboard station. Run and check daily reports, contingencylists, and credit card authorization reports. Supply guests with directions andinformation. Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions,or concerns; follow up to ensure each has been met to guests' satisfaction.Arrange transportation for guests/visitors. Count and secure bank at beginningand end of shift. Cash guests' checks, process allpayment types, vouchers, paid-outs, charges, and provide change. NotifySecurity of any reports of theft.Follow company policies andprocedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager;ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintainconfidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome andacknowledge guests according to company standards; anticipate and addressguests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests withgenuine appreciation. Speak using clear and professional language; answertelephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive workingrelationships; support team to reach common goals; listen and respondappropriately to the concerns of employees. Comply with quality assurancestandards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift,carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 poundswithout assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested bySupervisors.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
