Quality Packager SHIFT:
9A-5P SUMMARY The Quality Packager is responsible for ensuring Incab America LLC.
's materials meet quality standards and that approved finished products are packaged in accordance with brand guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following:
Neatly packages finished, quality-assured cables per general brand guidelines and customer specifications.
Communicates effectively with production team to alert of quality discrepancies in materials.
Updates Monday and other production-progress tracking tools.
Maintains a clean and organized workstation--both in the office and warehouse work areas.
Manages inventory of packaging and testing supplies, including tracking, material volume, and restocking designated material areas.
Organizes and stages materials by their designated area according to relevant production orders.
Inspects all materials, before packaging, for possible damage.
Cleans packing area scales, tubes station, and desk area.
Disposes of wire and scrap before the end of shift.
Cleans and organizes tool cart.
Uses forklift to move reels and stage materials.
Builds wooden reels, as needed.
Completes all tasks assigned by the Quality Supervisor and Quality Manager.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED, with 2 years' experience in manufacturing, preferably in wire and cable.
High attention to detail; demonstrates alertness to discrepancies outside of acceptable tolerances.
Basic literacy with computers and electronic devices; including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and various other digital formats and editing tools.
Proven organizational and relationship-building skills.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Able to work 12-hour shifts in a four-on-four-off shift schedule.

Required regularly to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Required to occasionally climb or balance; and talk or hear.
Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 45 pounds unassisted for extended durations as needed.
Able to work in a loud environment subject to machine and tool noise.
Ability to work most of the time indoors in a hot, dusty, and noisy warehouse environment.
