Summary GameStop's Pricing team is seeking a Senior Pricing Operations Specialist to lead the day-to-day operations for Pricing, provide support to internal teams, and define the forward-looking roadmap for improving our Pricing capabilities.
You will have responsibility for both In-Store and Online pricing for thousands of items generating billions of dollars in sales.
You will set, monitor, and audit our retail prices and help define the pricing strategies for the company.
You will partner with a number of teams, including Merchants, Marketing, Promotions, and Store Operations, to improve our pricing capabilities and increase customer awareness to sales and markdowns.
As the internal pricing expert, you will educate, coach, and train stakeholders in how to properly use our pricing systems and tools.
You will provide visibility to our pricing and its impact to the organization, including senior leaders.
Further, you will have the chance to define and own the project roadmap for the Pricing team as we seek to automate, scale, and increase the effectiveness of Pricing at GameStop.
To be successful in this role, you will have an ownership mentality to ensure we are offering the best prices for our customers, stores, and the business.
You will proactively identify new opportunities to deliver results for the business through pricing strategies and capabilities, and influence other teams and functions (like Analytics, Engineering, etc.
) to support those initiatives.
Pricing is a cornerstone of our retail business, and in this role, you will have the chance to play a critical role in the success of our business online and across thousands of stores nationwide.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Regularly monitor and audit current and upcoming selling and reference prices in-stores and online.
Ensure prices are accurate and meet defined requirements.
Hold stakeholders accountable for the proper usage of Pricing tools and for the accurate setting of prices.
Set prices for in-store and online channels.
Provide visibility to internal stakeholders of existing, upcoming, and past Pricing actions.
Own the documentation and training for the usage of Pricing tools, systems, reporting, and other related mechanisms.
Collaborate closely with Merchant, Marketing, Promotions, Store Operations, and Technical teams in defining the business requirements for and implementing new Pricing capabilities.
Work towards the continued automation and scaling of Pricing strategies.
Diligently respond to Pricing requests and questions from internal partners.
Be the expert for all things Pricing (tools, strategies, systems, etc.
).
Act as the point-of-contact with external partners.
Proactively identify opportunities to provide improved visibility and awareness of discounts and promotional pricing to customers and store Associates.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree.
2-3 years of relevant experience in Program or Product management.
Experience partnering directly with different stakeholders and supporting their goals and requirements.
Experience defining and documenting business/user requirements.
Experience and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Experience defining agendas and leading meetings with peers and senior leaders.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with people in different job functions and roles.
Demonstrated ability to solve problems based on knowledge of systems, business goals, and common sense.
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
Ability to work under demanding time constraints and adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to use data to drive decision-making.
Willingness to work from the office daily.
Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree.

years of experience in in Program or Product management.
Experience working in a retail and/or e-commerce environment.
Experience working in Pricing or Promotions.
Experience building a product roadmap and defining business priorities.
Ability to write SQL queries and/or create dashboards in Power BI.
