Responsibilities:
As a Senior Solutions Architect (Presales Data Center/Enterprise Networking), you will serve as the focused technical lead and sales engineer for ePlus targeted product and service solutions, supporting the ePlus regional sales team to drive revenue creation and capture within the customer account portfolio.
You will have the opportunity to work with our master architects, engineers, and consultants, to understand our clients needs and craft sustainable IT roadmaps to get them there.

Responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise/credibility to account team on designated focus area Building strong cross-organizational relationships and effectively influencing across ePlus and customer teams Develop solution architecture and detailed line-item configurations/bills of material (BOMs) Develop proposal and/or presentation of recommended solutions Staying current with Data Center and/or Enterprise Networking technologies and making recommendations for use based on business value Leverage the breadth of the ePlus portfolio of Data Center and/or Enterprise Networking products and services Assist with technical scoping/review for Statements of Work (SOWs) for assigned accounts Function as liaison to end-user customer technical staff regarding solution and implementation specifics Function as a liaison between the sales team and professional services organization to vet solution recommendations and to complete technical portions of the SOW, as appropriate Function as technical liaison and ePlus ambassador with field OEM sales and technical teams Conduct customer presentations on ePlus value proposition and technical solution sets for assigned accounts and focus areas Assist sales account managers with overall account planning, as it relates to technical aspects of hardware, software, and services opportunity development Assist sales account managers with project management for complex presales engagements Complete technical sections for RFP/RFI/RFQ responses for assigned accounts Assist account teams with collecting customer business and technical requirements and determining ePlus recommended solution(s) Assist sales and services management in identifying candidate solution areas for ePlus development or investment Complete training, per development plan, and maintain certifications in accordance with focus area Assist Services Director with helping improve procedures and functions Ensure appropriate coverage for in-process opportunities while out of office for training, vacation, PTO, etc.
Participate in regular team meetings Complete administrative tasks (expenses, time reporting) in a timely fashion Building strong cross-organizational relationships and effectively influencing across ePlus and customer teams.
Working closely with the other architect teams within ePlus to ensure that security is properly embedded in their domains.
Escalate issues to other team members and subject matter experts, as necessary.
Maintain multiple advanced manufacturer specific advanced certifications (e.
g.
CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, NSE).

Hands-on experience working with a variety of Data Center and/or Enterprise Networking Technology including but not limited to the following areas:
Experience working with a variety of storage platforms Pure, NetApp, Nutanix, Rubrik Hands on experience with virtualization technologies - VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix Experience with Microsoft technologies - Windows Operating systems, Active Directory, Exchange, O365 Experience with Cloud technologies; O365, Azure, AWS Solid understanding of Data Protection and Business Continuity options and methodologies Enterprise switching platforms - Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus, Arista, & Aruba CX WAN technologies - Cisco edge routing - eBGP Cisco ACI and/or VMware NSX-T Mobility - Wireless Platforms including (Cisco Catalyst, Meraki & Aruba) Experience integrating multiple vendor products.
Excellent customer service skills on phone and in person Skilled to liaise with and influence multiple stakeholders in a matrix environment.
Professional demeanor and good communication skills Ability to think and come up with solutions quickly, and accurately Excellent written communications skills Strong attention-to-detail Ability to function as an individual contributor and mentor/leader detached from the corporate environment.
Education and
Experience:
Certifications in applicable technology preferred College degree or applicable work experience Two or more years of experience in designing or implementing complex network or systems/storage solutions Three or more years of experience in providing pre-sales engineering support Greatly Preferred
Experience:
Advanced vendor certifications (e.
g.
) CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, NSE highly desirable.
Position Specifics:
The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $120,000 to $170,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.

Physical Requirements of Position:
