Assist in overseeing the Conference Services Housemen.
Serve as on-property liaison between the Conference Center and the clients for proper event set-up, shipping and receiving of packages and business center services.
Ensure accurate posting of charges.
Oversee the cleanliness and organization of function rooms, storerooms and equipment.
Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.
Work closely with the Conference Services Managers, Conference Planning Managers, Day Meetings Manager, and Catering Manager to ensure that all event information is understood.
Assist in setting up designated function rooms to group's requirements in accordance with conference center standards.

Set up phone lines and internet connections.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Location of all conference center function space and names of rooms.
All styles of conference meeting and banquet.
Correct maintenance and use of equipment.
Review assignment sheets with manager; u Inspect set rooms for cleanliness and agreement to group requirements; rectify any deficiencies.
Inspect cleanliness and working condition of all equipment and supplies to be set up in function area; rectify any deficiencies.
Set up rooms and function areas with phones and internet lines.
designated tables, chairs, staging, dance floor, flipcharts, easels, and other equipment as specified by group requirements and in accordance with departmental standards.
Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds Must have a minimum of1 year previous experience in a full service hotel as a banquet set up/conference services supervisor.
