Job summaryAWS Infrastructure Operations Security is seeking a highly talented and motivated Security Program Manager to join our team.

The role is responsible for the design, installation and full lifecycle of physical security systems, including Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems as well as overall security policy and program management.
You will also be responsible for the continuous review of existing standards and to stay abreast of new technology developments that will enhance the physical security footing of AWS data centers and collocations.
You will work directly with the Cluster Security Managers (CSM's), Regional Security Managers, Data Center Security Managers, the Operations Team and other customers, both internal and external, to integrate business requirements into physical security system design and implementation.
Your work will include supporting the design and deployment of physical security packages and security program enhancements for AWS data centers in your assigned portfolio.
The ideal candidate for the role will be willing and able to work across multiple disciplines, at all levels; from physical security system design and layout, construction and implementation as well as oversee system maintenance and upgrades over the life of multiple projects.
You will have an in depth knowledge of security technology, be innovative, highly organized and know how to deliver results on time and on budget.
The role may involve travel and the ability to work autonomously is essential.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and currently possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance.
In compliance with the U.

government contracts, this position may require that the candidate selected be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
A person is considered fully vaccinated by completing the full regimen of the COVID-19 vaccine (two doses for Pfizer or Moderna and one dose for Johnson & Johnson).
Key job responsibilities Support Cluster Security Managers by providing physical security analysis and recommend program enhancements to maximize security of assigned locations.
Ensure cluster policies and procedures are developed and operated in accordance with internal and customer security policies and practices.
Drive physical security process/procedure development and implementation.
Continuously monitor processes and drive improvements in efficiency and quality of our security programs; develop, track and report on key program performance metrics.
Providing oversight and governance of physical security audit preparations, outcomes, and finding remediation and resolution.
Compile and analyze data metrics from Physical Access Control Systems to highlight trends as well as devise solutions to mitigate and reduce erroneous alarms.
Support design of physical security systems for new data centers, data center expansions and special projects/retrofits.
Project management of physical security system hardware and vendor installation including access control devices, intrusion detection devices, and other components of data center physical security systems.
Representative for physical security system acceptance, sign-off, and operational readiness validation in conjunction with the Infrastructure Operations Management and AWS Security.
Complication, indexing and archiving of project close-out documentation.
Reporting performance metrics such as physical security system installation vendor service delivery performance, actual spend vs.
budget variance, cost reduction goal attainment, post installation defect rates, physical security program analysis, etc.
Serves as staff support to security management and assists in conducting investigations of significant threats and/or the loss or misappropriation of assets.
